След 40 дни в COVID реанимация, интубиран и на апаратна вентилация, 49-годишен граничен полицай от Бургас живее втори живот.
Веселин се разболява през октомври и за дни се влошава. С бронхиална астма и двустранна пневмония е приет в COVID отделението на Онкологията.
"Бях на кислород, кислородна маска, но нещата не се оправяха и в един момент просто нямаше накъде, трябваше в реанимация да постъпя". Аз дори не знаех какво ще се случи с мен, не знаех какво означава дори интубация", сподели пред bTV Веселин Косев.
"Всеки един момент беше тревожен. Аз, той като беше интубиран, просто стоях и гледах в една точка. Не знаех какво да си мисля и, знаейки наистина статистиката, само 10 % от интубираните оцеляват", каза Евгения Косева, съпруга на Веселин.
Веселин Косев е категоричен, че е имал надежда.
"Защото знам, мислих и вече съм сигурен, че съм бил във възможно най-добрите ръце. Всички ми казват, че съм богопомазен. Изключително благодарен съм, цял живот няма да забравя нито докторите, нито всички, които са полагали тези грижи за мен", каза Веселин.
След Нова година той е преместен в друго отделение:
„Сега, в момента, усилията са съсредоточени върху раздвижването, защото той трябва да стане на крака и вече да се прибере вкъщи", допълни съпругата му Евгения Косева.
След 3 месеца в болницата най-много му липсва малкият му син.
След това изпитание семейството променя отношението си към ваксините.
„Задължително оттук нататък с ваксини. Просто две мнения по въпроса няма. Повече компромиси със себе си, експерименти няма да правя! Такива грешки повече - не", категоричен е Веселин.
От болничната стая Веселин Косев не спира да благодари на лекарите, а те и днес бяха на дежурство в COVID сектора.
